Kevin

Born in New Jersey, Kevin migrated south and came to work at Leland Plumbing in 1977.  As manager, Kevin trains and backs up each plumber in the field and is famous for getting the most difficult and challenging plumbing jobs done.  He makes it look easy.  He knows the ghost in the machine. Kevin is a Sarasota County licensed plumber and state certified backflow technician.  He lives in Venice with his wife, Edie and son Kevin. His daughter Jessie is a student at Ringling School of Art and Design.

Maggie

Ms. Maggie, a native of Osprey, is the heart and soul of Leland Plumbing and has been on board since 1975.  She directs all internal operations at the shop and is vice president of Leland Plumbing.  Maggie is one of a few women who holds her own Master Plumber License.  Feel free to ask about her grandkids.

Cathy

Cathy brings an upbeat attitude to work that is infectious.  As Maggie’s assistant she keeps the phones, the trucks and the paperwork running smooth at Leland Plumbing.  Cathy lives in Sarasota with central heat and air.

Dan

Another Florida cracker, Dan comes from Safety Harbor up on Tampa Bay. Dan can tell it like it is in short order. He started at Leland Plumbing in 2000 and has completed four years of plumbing apprenticeship training at Sarasota Tech. He is also a state certified backflow technician. Dan brings a “whatever it takes to get the job done” attitude to every task.  He lives in Venice with his wife Michele, son Kyle and at last count, two dogs.

Jay

Owner Jay Leland is from St. Pete where he apprenticed at his Dad’s plumbing company (also Leland Plumbing).  Once he earned his license, Jay migrated south to Sarasota and opened his shop in 1974.  Since then he has been lucky to surround himself with hard working associates dedicated to providing top quality plumbing service to thousands of Leland Plumbing customers.  Jay lives in Osprey with his flea bitten dog, Jake.

Brenda

Brenda is a Florida girl who lives in Osprey with her son, Anthony and daughter, Levi.  She is responsible for in-house marketing, dispatching our crew all over town and often assists the plumbers in the field.  Brenda created and maintains this website.

Zeke

Zeke moved here from Cooperstown, New York. He worked in plumbing and welding up there. Since 2005 we have been lucky to have a man with his plumbing skill and push on the team. Zeke is the jokester of the crew. Just wait til' you hear him sing!

Zach

Zach joined our crew in 2009. He started his career in the military and has plumbed in California, Carolina and his native Ohio. Zach is married with 2 young sons, Gavin 6 and Sam 3.

Jake

Jake hails from Brandon, Florida. If dog years were people years, this dog would be 63 and his owner would be 434. Jake is often the first to greet visitors to our shop. After hours he guards the shop, the yard and the brass barrels with an iron paw.

Pinky & Pumpkin

Pinky and Pumpkin are the newest members of our family. They both hail from Sea Scape Aquarium in Sarasota Florida. They have 102 brothers and sisters and enjoy all water sports. These two keep a close eye on the girls in the office and are never late for work.
